In helping a wide cross section of companies improve the performance of their supply chains MML has develop a practical yet very powerful set of methodologies or frameworks, designed to address specific improvement tasks. We have formalised them to form a toolkit of techniques.
The value of structure
Many of the techniques we use have evolved from work done in the course of our consulting and coaching assignments. Where they have demonstrated their ability to deliver excellent results we have documented and structured them. This captures existing good practice and enables us to continue its development.
The benefit in doing this is twofold:
- internally it provides the basis for our quality assurance, ensuring that we follow a proven workplan and that nothing is missed;
- externally it delivers cost effectiveness, avoiding the risk of re-invent the wheel on each assignment at the client's expense.
