About our methods

We rely strongly on our own breadth of experience, gained over many years in both operational and consultancy roles.

We have had first-hand experience of using many methodologies, some of which go back many decades in the history. We do not slavishly adopt any one of these methodologies, but we do select the best from each of them. We are firmly convinced that this is the only way to maintain an open-minded approach, and not to force any dogmatic solution on the situation.

Some of the methodologies and basic theories that we use include:

  • Lean principles, particularly Lean Manufacturing, Lean Procurement and the Lean Office
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
  • the Theory of Constraints (after Dr Eli Goldratt)
  • the System of Profound Knowledge (after Dr W Edwards Deming)
  • the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and Principle Centred Leadership (after Dr Stephen R Covey)
